The character of Dobby in the Harry Potter series was one that personified loyalty to Harry Potter. Dobby was an elf who was considered an outcast, due to his race being discriminated against. However, Dobby did not let his race get in the way of saving Harry’s life. Rather, Dobby chose to help Harry by helping him escape from the secret passage at Malfoy Manor.
